EXERCISE 1

In this exercise, we are tasked with making a character of our choice in Adobe Animate. I started off with the sketch, I decided to draw a robot.

Fig 6, Sketch

After finishing the sketch I started making the robot I named Gi-wi for fun in Adobe Animate. I also section the layers and turn it into symbols.

EXERCISE 2

For the second exercise, we need to do an idle animation for our character we created in exercise 1. Since I made a robot, I wanted my robot to have robotic movements that were simple, as it was an idle animation. I continued using Adobe Animate.

FEEDBACK

My tutor told me that I need to have the habit of grouping and naming my elements and layers so I do not lose track of them while doing my assignments.

REFLECTION

Adobe Animate is hard, but I had some fun. I do think I have a much easier time navigating and doing my assignments on Animate, rather than Dreamweaver. This may be because I prefer working with elements and do not like working with text as I have a problem with spelling and typos. While it was hard to navigate the software, with time, I hope to improve my skills.
