LECTURE
INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOSHOP
Lasso Tool: Allows to draw and pinpoint specific areas
of a document.
Types of Lasso: Lasso, Polygonal Lasso & Magnetic
Lasso
Pen Tool: Commonly used when creating a path from
scratch. Used for extremely precise shapes and paths.
Variation of Pen Tool:
- Straight line paths
- U shaped curves
- Simple S curves
- Complex S curves
Layering: Layers are images stacked on top of one
another. A layer can be edited without affecting the other layers. With
layering, one can simply edit without stressing about how it affects other
layers.
Just remember to name it so you do not get confused.

After showing my tutor the 3 collages and consulting him, I went with the layout of the first collage and added the background of the second one with a few minor changes.

REFLECTION
This week, I learned about how to use Adobe Photoshop's tools like the Lasso Tool when making a selection, the Pen Tool to making very specific path and shapes, and Layering to isolate and edit certain elements without effecting others. Lastly I finished up my digital collage.
