Our tutor told us about a mural competition taking place and recommended that we join.

The mural competition was to make an art piece on an A1 size paper, the theme was Unity through Diversity. After some discussion, me and some of my friends decided to join the competition.

At first, we set up a Pinterest Board to get some inspiration.

While discussing, we wanted to go for a fantasy theme with creatures instead of humans.

After the creatures were made, we discussed about the composition of the mural.

We decided to go for the one with the "looped tree" as we thought it would be fun.

With the discussion out of the way, some of us did practice sketches and hoped for the best for the mural.

After 2 agonizing hours of back pain, hand cramps, and a ton of screaming we finished our A1 mural.

Reflection: Even though we did not win anything and only got a special mention, I am glad we did this style with the creatures and this composition. Lastly, I am glad I got to do this with my friends and would not change a thing about what we did. ^ - ^
