2. EXERCISE 1: Audio Dubbing

BRIFE:

For this exercise, our tutor placed us in groups to complete a spreadsheet of the timeline, audio, and description. As doing it alone took too long.

After doing the spreadsheet, I started recording the needed audio for the video as we need to voice all the characters ourselves.

After recording, my group and I started looking for sound effects. We even recorded some as we could not find a suitable one online.

Then we started editing in Premiere Pro, by creating a new file, importing the needed files and and following the steps our tutor taught us.

   1) I first placed the video and voice recording to time it right and adjust the pitch.

   2) Then I added the sound effects in the right places.

   3) And finally added the ambient sound to tie the whole video together.

Lastly, I posted the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuWFY5uzDtk

3. EXERCISE 2

Record your own voice for 10 seconds for Project 1 Exercise 2 sound shaping.
  1. Voice of phone call.
  2. Voice coming from inside of the closet.
  3. Underground cave.
  4. Alien/ Orc voice

My first language was English, so I decided to read a line from a light novel, "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint", as I was currently reading it.

Then in Audition, I followed the instructions in the slides to get the audio I wanted.
